I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I specialize in working with adolescents and adults using solution focused, strength based therapies, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I earned a dual Bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Marywood University and my Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America in Washington DC.
I have been licensed in clinical social work in Virginia since 1999 and the District of Columbia since 2021. I have held teaching licenses in early, elementary, middle and special education. My professional experience includes school and hospital settings and as an adjunct faculty staff member at George Mason University in the undergraduate and graduate Social Work Department. I have been in clinical/supervisory practice since 2008.
I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
